Recorded in places and spaces tied to the duo’s daily lives in Seoul. The historic Nusang Valley, Bethel Hall at Jeongdong Church, one of the oldest church in Seoul, TYMM wine bar in HBC and a Bogwang-dong studio, the album weaves these field recordings into a cohesive flow. Layering flute, guitar, and electronics over the raw sounds of each site, the record navigates a delicate balance between improvisation and structure. The result is not background ambience, but an attempt to uncover rhythms and silences beneath the city’s repetition and noise. A proposal to hear Seoul in a different way.
