Aphex Twin releases their latest album after 5 years!
Starting with an appearance at Copenhagen's "Syd For Solen" music festival on June 9, 2023, the band has made headlining appearances at various music festivals. Prior to the release of the new album, mysterious installations appeared at various festivals, and fans were creating various fantasies on Reddit and other message board sites. Now, posters with the hidden logo are posted in record stores around the world, and by scanning the QR code with a camera, you can enter the augmented reality world of Aphex Twin.

In 1992, Autechre first gained attention for his participation in Warp's "Artific ial Intelligence" compilation, which presented a new way of thinking about techno music, and made a strong impression on the scene with his first album "Incunabula" in 1993, followed by "Amber" in 1994. In the 2010s, when IDM/electronica underwent a further metamorphosis, Autechre has remained an isolated artist and a representative of IDM/electronica ever since, releasing Oversteps (2010), the 2-CD set Exai (2013), the 5 CD set "elseq 1-5" (2016) released on their own website, and the 8 CD 12 LP blockbuster "NTS Sessions." (2018).

In contrast to "NTS Sessions.", which lasted over 16 hours and was considered a "single work", this album is the essence of the current Autechre in 11 tracks, and is called "SIGN The album is called "SIGN".

In an age when pop music has become more accessible and has retreated into the background music of daily life, Autechre continues to encourage the listener to have an active listening experience. Outeka has never stopped the evolution of sound, and they have never changed in their thorough defiance of the consumption of music. SIGN" is the latest result of this work, and a credit to man's continued active engagement with music.

The album was released in 2013, following the immortal albums "Music Has the Right to Children" (1998), "Geogaddi" (2002), and "The Campfire Headphase" (2005). Written, recorded, produced, and artwork designed by members Mike Sandison and Marcus Ion, the album is entitled "Tomorrow's Harvest".

This album, released in 2012, continues the themes and sonic textures found in Music for Films, Music for Airports, and Apollo : Atmospheres and Soundtracks, where Eno began his exploration of ambient music. It is clear that he is pursuing further possibilities. Eno himself regards this album as the latest project in his "Music for Thinking" series, which also includes "Discreet Music" (1975) and "Neroli" (1993).

LUX is one of Eno's most ambitious works to date. 75 minutes in length, it consists of 12 parts and was originally developed from music created for the sound installation exhibition "Music for the Great Gallery of the Palace of Venaria" currently being held in Turin, Italy. Distant Call is a collection of early demos that were worked into finished productions appearing on Haha Sound, Tender Buttons and The Future Crayon.

The album also includes two songs discovered by James after Trish’s passing: “Come Back To Me” and “Please Call To Book” which was her response to Broadcast's 2006 ‘Let’s Write A Song’ project, where fans were asked to submit lyrics on a postcard which would then be worked into a finished song.

Distant Call is a closing of the door on Broadcast and will be the last release from the band.

Spell Blanket comprises songs and sketches drawn from Trish's extensive archive of 4-track tapes and MiniDiscs. The recordings lay the groundwork for what would have been Broadcast’s fifth album, offering a window into Trish and James’ creative process during the post-Tender Buttons period from 2006-2009.

Clarissa Connelly is a Scottish-born, Copenhagen-based producer, composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist who has been remarkably active in the last year, performing in the UK and EU as a front for Jenny Hval and joining Laurie Anderson's choir. She has also been performing with Laurie Anderson's choir. Her debut album "World of Work" will be released on April 12! Taking its title from French philosopher Georges Bataille's "Eroticism," "World of Work" explores the sacred and the profane, weaving together a dreamlike blend of Norse folk songs, Celtic mythology, black magic, and pop music on a total of nine tracks. The preceding single, "An Embroidery," describes the way sound grows, building up one sonic element at a time until it reaches a great cacophony. In this cacophony, Connelly brings together elements such as the sound of church bells and distorted bass guitar in a patchwork fashion. This is Connelly's gift for linking the ancient and the modern.

Revanchist (2023) is the long-awaited debut album by Evian Christ, scheduled for release by WARP on 20th October 2023. The eight-track record explores the latent potential in Trance to evoke, beyond Euphoria, the fullest feeling of the Sublime. Revanchist draws from an unlikely and expansive pool of influences; compositing, at once, the suffocating throttle of Demiurge-era Emptyset (2011); the worldliness of Madonna and William Orbit’s Ray Of Light LP (1998); the acute uncanniness of Laibach’s Across The Universe (1988); and a highly stylized approach to mixing and sound design primarily inspired by Sasha’s seminal Xpander EP (1999) 

On Embers, Revanchist’s opening track and lead single, perhaps best encapsulates Christ’s inclination towards the total annihilation of Trance’s default affects; rapturous supersaws meet a tempest of indecipherable noise, mangled 808s and broken shards of Defected Records gospel house acapellas. Nobody Else shows reverence to classic Balearic Trance and its associated imagery — a widescreen view of a supermassive Iberian sunset; Apocalypse Now meets Café Del Mar. Its spacious breakdown, featuring an impressionistic treatment of vocals lifted from Clairo’s North, provides one of Revanchist's most strikingly fragile moments. Yxguden, the record's final single, is accompanied by a music video directed by early computer graphics pioneer and Tiesto-collaborator Micha Klein, who choreographs a meeting between Drain Gang’s Bladee and a Nordic Bronze Age cave drawing of an axe-wielding Moundperson. Utilising a vocal hook most widely recognised for its use in DJ Hixxy’s “More and More” (2007), Yxguden’s chaotic arrangement jump-cuts between moments of gauzy ambiance and frenzied exhilaration. Run Boys Run, Revanchist’s concluding track, sees Christ summon an enraptured chorus of bending strings and soaring choral threnoi, eventually resting on a single sub-bass note, held to exhaustion

The album was mixed and mastered by Chris Pawlusek and Christ in Goa, India 

‘Dimension Intrusion’ was the first full-length studio album by Richie Hawtin, who was 22 years old at the time and living in Windsor, Canada. It was first released in June 1993 under the F.U.S.E. name on Hawtin’s own Plus 8 Records imprint and again as the second release of Warp Records seminal ‘Artificial Intelligence’ series. 

The album compiled previously released F.U.S.E. EPs from Plus 8 complemented with new music specially recorded for this release. It would be a fundamental album for the young producer, who was experimenting with different themes and techniques to find his very own sound. Largely inspired by sci-fi movies he used a collection of synthesizers and drum machines, playing with their electronic yet warm sound effects and in turn discovering some of his favorite instruments. 

The tracks on ‘Dimension Intrusion’ range from club focused techno to soundtrack ambience and can be seen retrospectively as experiments leading to what would soon become Hawtin’s trademark acid laced Plastikman sound. 

It was on this album that he first collaborated with his brother, Matthew Hawtin, presenting an original painting completed in 1992 as the album artwork. In fact the album title was derived from this painting’s title ‘Dimension Intrusion’, demonstrating the reciprocal inspiration shared between the brothers. The acrylic painting oscillates between the one and two-dimensional. The composition of geometrical beams in bold primary colors and sharp lines evokes electrically charged movement and progression in and out of different dimensions. The visual tension corresponds with the energetic rhythms of the music, furthermore, the abstract painting and techno music share machine-like precision whilst producing a sensual and emotionally triggering experience. 

Dimension Intrusion’ is an iconic album in the history of electronic music that sets Richie Hawtin on a path of exploration and interest in the connection of audio and visual expression. 

Radiohead's Thom Yorke joins on vocals and writing! Kelela, a new generation R&B singer who straddles R&B and dance music, has released her latest album "RAVEN" on Warp, her first album in five years since her acclaimed debut album "Take Me Apart". The album was co-executive produced by Kerera and LA producer Asmara, with Kerera composing and arranging all of the songs. Other producers on the album include Yo van Lenz and Florian T M Zeisig, who also work as the ambient unit OCA, and LSDXOXO, who produced the entire album, and Canadian Bambii ( Bambii) also participated in the additional production. Kerera's new chapter, "RAVEN," is an extremely beautiful and lustrous musical experience. Through the fifteen songs on this album, including the already acclaimed predecessors "Washed Away" and "Happy Ending," Kerera explores autonomy, belonging, and self-renewal.

Kelly Moran has steadfastly established himself as a standard-bearer of contemporary music, challenging the classical school of piano with modern and experimental approaches; in 2018, he joined Oneohtrix Point Never's touring ensemble and has performed live with FKA Twigs. In the classical realm, she has composed for Margaret Leng Tan, while also performing with artists such as Kelsey Lu and Yves Tumor. Her latest album, "Moves in the Field," was released on March 29, 2012 on Warp Records! This album contains 10 duets that explore the inhuman and impossible realm of piano playing, experimenting with the Yamaha Disklavier automatic piano, which Moran plays in real time while the Disklavier plays ultra-fast arpeggios and chords that require more than 10 fingers, accompanying motifs that transcend the physical limits of the piano. Mixing and recording was done by Dan Bora, known as the sound engineer for Philip Glass, and mastered by Joshua Eustis of Tel Aviv.

Kwes., who is known for his work with Solange, Loyle Carner, and Kelela, was heavily influenced by the vibrant colors of the visuals, the fast but varying pace of the film as a whole, and the setting of South London when creating the soundtrack. The album features a wide range of sounds, from Kwes.'s typical pop electronic sounds to lyrical sounds, and the highlight is a superb electronic soul track featuring vocals from Sampha and Tirzah, whose beautiful vocals make it a must-listen!
