"See the Light" Reborn after 30 Years!
The iconic ambient track "See the Light," originally included in the Light in the Attic compilation “Kankyo Ongaku” is making a thrilling comeback after three decades.
This masterpiece, composed by the legendary ambient pioneer Fumio Miyashita, has been brought back to life thanks to his son, Jody Tenku Miyashita, a prominent figure in the ambient scene himself. Jody discovered the original multi-tape recording of "See the Light" from 1991 and, after overcoming the challenge of digitizing the tapes in the US (a feat deemed impossible in Japan), has paved the way for a dream collaboration between father and son.
This remix album is a powerful collaboration between the artists currently shaping Personal Affair’s and Zen/Echo sound—Loop Diary, DJ Kumon, Eden Aurelius, and Jody Tenku, son of the legendary Fumio Miyashita. Drawing inspiration from Miyashita's original multi-track recordings, each artist delivers their unique interpretation, culminating in an exquisite chill-out experience that embodies the label's cutting-edge vision
