Now based in Hobart, Amelia Besseny and Cooper Bowman draw on dub, DIY pop, post-rock and Fourth World electronics, with nods to Leslie Winer, Brenda Ray and Vashti Bunyan. Murky basslines, skeletal drum machines, spectral vocals and warped melodies give tracks like 'In Essence' and 'Found Ring' their peculiar charm. Elsewhere, 'She Sees Stars' explores hazy shoegaze, The Dengie Hundred guests on 'Two Urns Mark The Way', and 'Knotwork' closes with a playful burst of breakbeat dub.
The Limits Of A Light Touch Troth
