Description
The 2nd album of tolerance, which was originally released as the last LP work of Vanity Records (catalog number 12) in March 1981.
Established in 1978, Vanity Records captures the cutting-edge music trends of the same era, such as new bands that are active with values since punk and the alternative approach of musicians who have gone through band activities. However, in the release from 1981, the direction of INDUSTRIAL MYSTERY MUSIC = industrial mystical music is strongly set out (the editing system of rock magazine will be renewed in the near future). The two-disc LP "MUSIC" (VANITY0010-11) released in December 1980 declared this direction, and this work released in March 1981 showed its vision as a single work. It can be called "divin". Since then, Vanity Records has chosen to release on cassettes as a way to convey this direction, with an emphasis on speed, and as a result, this is the label's last LP.
The aspect of free-form musical instrument performance using piano and guitar, which was seen in the previous work "anonym", has receded, and the style has made great strides toward electronic music centered on rhythm machines and synthesizers. Although the musicality is based on the repetition of inorganic rhythms, the sound it wears is sometimes hollow and sometimes vivid, and the sense of harmony felt in the instrumental performance of the previous work is inherited. Makes you feel that you are. The treatment of voice is also made more abstract by passing it through filters and modulation. While the repetitive elements that were still obscure in the previous work are clearly projected, other elements are also present (although in a state of intentional haze), and therefore the surface. The elegance and strength of tolerance as music is not lost while changing the musical appearance.
Not only does it affect contemporary writers such as being selected on the NWW list, but it is also a masterpiece and important work that can greatly find the sound vision that follows modern experimental such as Posh Isolation.
