remastered, Japanese edition. This is a baffling record. The press release merely states that it's a soundtrack to a 'JR Yamanote line running in Tokyo' that 'has the fewest number of users per day'. The Gerogerigegege are a legendary experimental project that have been known to masturbate onstage, release a 75-track album called 'Tokyo Anal Dynamite', and released an album that was a single octopus tentacle in a box. It's strange, then, that as far as I can make out, this album is twelve songs of soulful, keyboard-led funk that sounds like it being played a seedy bar with wipe-clean menus. Still, strange is what this group do best.
