The duo's dedication to bass propels the mini-LP from the beginning, with pressurized subs underpinning a mesh of expertly tweaked flutes, digi-dub twangs and SKRS' usual emcee deployments on opener 'MUZIKON I'.\n\nAnd the record hardly loses a lick of momentum from there. The pair introduce a haze of oily psychedelia on 'MUZIKON II', adding eerie sci-fi oscillations and scurrying percussion, but by the third chapter, they're operating in full view of the speaker stacks, hitching their pitch-wound vocal echoes and sampled plucks to wobbling sines that'd trouble the sturdiest cones.
