Created without fixed structures, the music preserves the immediacy of its first performances, with subtle later additions expanding rather than reshaping the original recordings.

Named after the Latin word for 'threshold', Limen explores the space between improvisation and composition, silence and resonance.

A founding member of Aktuala, Lino Capra Vaccina is a key figure in Italian experimental music whose minimalist approach has evolved over five decades. Luca Formentini is a composer and sound artist whose atmospheric work blends improvisation, field recordings and electroacoustic techniques, with collaborators including Holger Czukay, Robert Rich and Steve Jansen.
Limen Lino Capra Vaccina & Luca Formentini
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0285/1694/1956/files/217167-lino-capra-vaccina-luca-formentini-limen.jpg?v=1793074496
