The latest LP from veteran Tokyo producer "Bisk" (Naohiro Fujikawa) features 8 tracks dating back to his live performances at the cult venue "Forestlimit" in '19 and early '20, renowned as one of the best sound laboratories in Japan. The album contains 8 tracks of his multi-talented talent. While it seems to link to Orange Milk and PC Music's view of fusion and collage music after glitch and juke/footwork, it has a different origin and direction, ranging from electronica to IDM, LA beat, contemporary jazz, and juke/footwork. It's a very pop and danceable mix and update of many abstract forms of music from the last quarter century. And as I personally agreed with the fact that the bandcamp tag had the word "funk" in it, it was like Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus and Traxman all in one place at the Blue Note.
